Aquis House, Reading
Building on their working relationship with University Superannuation Services (USS), Stanley Bragg Architects were selected to prepare refurbishment options for Aquis House, a 5 storey, 40,000 sq.ft office building in Reading town centre.
Located at 49 -51 Balgrave Street, Aquis House occupies a prominent position close to the newly renovated Reading Station, the office building was in need of a significant refurbishment to attract new tenants.
Stanley Bragg’s proposals included a new contemporary canopy design, entrance reception extension, with new public realm works.
In addition, the proposals also included lift refurbishments, office refits to Cat A and improvements to the toilet/ common parts; with new M&E services were included within the contract sum of £2.5M.
