The practice was appointed to revitalise this existing mixed-use building which neighbours Colchester’s Grade 1 Listed town hall.
The ground floor accommodation was amalgamated and extended to form the shells for 3 new restaurants. Above which the 3 floors of accommodation were converted from offices to residential. Externally the conversions included significant improvements to the High Street façade a fenestration, with a unique stilted extension to the rear to add interest to a previously neglected back-land area.
