St John School Site, Epping
Feasibility Study & Masterplan
Stanley Bragg were commissioned by Essex County Council to undertake a feasibility study and masterplan for the development at the St Johns School site, Epping.
The proposals involved a new Secondary School with all attendant sports pitches, amenity areas and hard play, together with a large landscaped space accessible to the public. To fund the new school the existing school site was designated as a potential residential area.
The scheme involved development for part of the site within the Greenbelt. The Site area is approximately 13.7 hectares (33.85 acres). Approval of the scheme was confirmed following a public enquiry.
