Kesgrave Hall, Ipswich
Stanley Bragg were commissioned to design a unique and iconic architectural statement for an arrival suite, which would connect to a World War 2 hanger behind.
A folded copper shingle box and roof with trapezoidal windows would provide this architectural statement, which sits within a circular rising flint and brick courtyard wall. This development sits adjacent to the Grade 2 listed Kesgrave Hall and required extensive negotiations with English Heritage, Planning and Conservation team, who welcomed a contemporary approach for this extension.
