Collaborative Learning Centre, Wickford
A shared educational facility shared by 11 local Primary Schools and 2 Secondary Schools.
The building provides spaces to improve the teaching of the curriculum, and extended the ability to develop themes of work without the need to remove displays and activities to accommodate everyday functions at their own schools.
The building provides a functional entrance area, with two large adaptable spaces that can open up to outside spaces. These are all highly serviced with ICT facilities. In addition to these spaces, there is a theme room to provide a sensory experience, and an audio visual suite for editing and recording.
The site is confined, however, there are 3 outside areas, providing different experiences; a sensory, performance and play.
